Wow. I haven't had the time to watch Unriddle 2 until recently.
The riddle isn't as fantastic as part I (Unriddle). But the way the human situations and stories portrayed were wow. So real.
Xiaoman and Dabao are constantly battling with their thoughts and questioning the intentions of their hearts. Testing themselves if whatever they did was righteous or evil. While Dabao faces the dilemma of avenging Ani's death by killing the mentally disabled person, Xiaoman also faces the temptation to pull the trigger and end the life of a close friend who killed her mother.
Instead of killing her friend, she almost chose to kill herself. Talk about desperate means.
Who is completely black and white in this world? While some believe in absolute truth, in other words, believing in black and white, we can't deny the fact that we live in a grey world, where righteousness and evil are in constant battle. It's because we live in a grey world that black and white seem to lose its standing in our lives.
On another note, in the series, Hu Xiaoman talks about challenging destiny and not submitting to it. But I guess, challenging destiny shouldn't be so much of the focus of our lives, since we can't control destiny. Maybe it'd be wiser to put our effort in the battle between the good and evil that resides in us.
But... Do you know what's good? Do you know what's evil? What do we believe in?
It is important to put our faith in truth, because what we put our faith in defines who we are.
So if the basis of your faith are lies, that's it. But then again, your faith in what's true will be put to test, and only then, will you know whether your standing is in light or darkness all these while.

Whatever it is! If any of you haven't watch the show. Go catch it! It's never too late! HAHAHA.
